As well as the regular maintenance our gardeners carry out (ie, weeding, mowing, pruning), these Case Studies are the results of additional projects completed In this garden, the small area of turf next to the path never did very well and was also an awkward shape and a bother to mow.
Garden Wonders gardener Gordon, suggested removing the turf and extending the border right up to the path. Each new plant chosen was thoroughly scrutinised at every aspect to ensure it deserved to be included in the planting scheme, such as winter interest, long flowering period and scent.
